TinkerMill and COVID-19

TinkerMill is following all federal, state, and local guidelines related to the Covid-19 pandemic in order to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, members, and visitors. Check back here frequently for updates on the current status

Update — On Sept. 3, 2021, the Boulder County Board of Health approved Public Health Order 2021-08 which requires facial coverings for anyone 2+ in public indoor spaces during periods of substantial or high-transmission of COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status. The order goes into effect September 3 at 5pm. The health order can be found here to review. At this time masks are required at TinkerMill with exceptions for those who cannot wear a mask for medical purposes, for those actively eating and drinking, and for those who are hearing impaired. Masks are not currently required outside, including in the back bays.

Is TinkerMill open?

Yes! TinkerMill is open to the public whenever members are on-site. 

Is TinkerMill accepting new members?

Yes! TinkerMill is always accepting new members. To join, please follow the instructions at https://www.tinkermill.org/membership/.

Is TinkerMill still holding classes?

Yes! Classes are backTo keep everyone safe, we have modified many of our classes to be held electronically or with smaller class sizes where possible. Due to instructor or space limitations, a very small number of our classes have been temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 outbreak. All of our classes are posted on our Meetup calendar as far in advance as possible, so please keep an eye out for your favorite classes.

Is TinkerMill still holding New Member Orientation sessions?

Yes! We’re currently delivering all New Member Orientation sessions electronically. RSVPs on Meetup are still required after you’ve submitted your membership agreement and first dues payment.

Is TinkerMill still giving tours?

We are doing tours on Sunday from 2 to 4 one on one which will reduce the number of tours we  are able to conduct.  If you show up please understand that the tour may be delayed.  To view a virtual tour Click Here to watch it. TinkerMill is still open to the public whenever a member is on site, so feel free to come on down and have a look around after signing a waiver. 

What is TinkerMill doing to make sure everyone remains safe?

TinkerMill is continuing to follow the guidance and orders of Boulder County Department of Public HealthCDPHE, and CDC. These guidelines include:

  • Stay at home as much as possible
  • At-risk individuals should continue to stay at home unless absolutely necessary.
  • As of September 3, 2021, masks are required indoors at all times.
 

At TinkerMill, everyone is expected to:

  • Not visit TinkerMill if you or someone in your household has symptoms
